Volunteers are essential to our YMCA. Without volunteers, we wouldn't be able to offer the programs, classes, services, and special events that we currently provide. Our growth is directly proportionate to your contributions. There are several ways in which you can volunteer at the YMCA. Find what best suits you and what you have to offer!
We are now offering student specific volunteer opportunities. Please fill out the Student Volunteer Application instead of the regular application.
Under the direction of the Health and Wellness Director, the Fitness Center Staff oversee the lower level
fitness area of the Oswego YMCA facility and provides orientations, and training services for YMCA
members. Fitness Center staff will impact and engage YMCA and community members in the areas of
youth development, social responsibility, with a particular focus on healthy living. This will be
accomplished through providing high quality service in a safe, effective, and inviting atmosphere.
Love working with kids? We are always looking for teachers and assistants for our kid classes! We are currently offering over 40 hours of programming for kids each week! Many of them could use a helper- choose a class that sounds the most fun to you.
