Ringside Barbell Club at the Oswego YMCA
The Ringside Barbell Club’s YFit class is a high intensity class combining aspects of cardio, weightlifting, and gymnastics based movements. Each day features different exercises so that your workout is constantly varied, challenging your body and mind. YFit classes focus on:
- Developing strength
- Promoting Injury Resistance
- Developing proper mechanics and form using compound lifts
- Increasing aerobic capacity and overall fitness
- Setting a foundation for disciplined training and a drive to achieve personal improvements
- Having fun!
YFit classes benefit people of ALL athletic abilities and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or have never stepped foot in a gym before, YFit will help you achieve your fitness goals. Scaling and modification options are available for every movement, and the coaches can help athletes work around physical limitations. All coaches are Crossfit Level 1 certified with several years of Crossfit and weightlifting experience.
YFit involves a monthly membership upgrade of $25 for the first person on the membership and $20 per person for every additional person on the same membership. Each YFit upgrade includes usage of all YFit equipment and the ability to attend all YFit classes.
