Families and friends take part in the Oswego YMCA’s Annual Harborfest 5k Walk/Run & Kids Fun Run each July on the Saturday during the community wide Harborfest celebration - a weekend of free music, amusements, historical events, shopping, eating & famous fireworks. Set on beautiful Lake Ontario, walkers and runners enjoy a 5k route through Oswego’s downtown, along scenic waterfronts, sites & festival venues.

The Oswego YMCA holds the FREE community event to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active at the annual YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative to improve health and well-being for kids and families.
Healthy Kids Day is an opportunity to ignite children’s imaginations so that they can imagine what they’ll accomplish all summer long. The three-hour event features activities such as games, arts and crafts, STEM challenges, and an huge inflatable obstacle course to motivate and teach families how to develop and maintain healthy routines at home throughout the summer months.
